Fairway is always looking to enhance their new Community Partners program, as one of the first schools to participate in this program, they are asking for our feedback and in return you will receive a $10 coupon to their stores. Class Project Signup

Dear Families:

Class Projects are a fun and memorable component of our Annual Spring Auction.  For those new to the school, these are typically arts & crafts projects that the various classes work on as a group and donate to the auction.  These items tend to be wonderful mementos of our children and their life at Lower Lab.  Kids love them (and parents love to bid on them!), so they raise a lot of money for the school.

We are looking for volunteers to rally parents and organize an auction project for their class.  Class parents typically collect $10 per family (if they haven’t done so already) to be used towards the Class Project. Once volunteers are identified, our class project coordinator will contact you and guide through the process.  To volunteer please click this link

The class project needs to be completed by April 1, 2015.

New School Lunch Menu Survey – Deadline Extended to Tuesday

The Lower Lab School Wellness Committee, in conjunction with P.S. 198 is proposing a new healthier lunch menu for our two schools. You will quickly see that the new menu is a bit of a step up in the culinary department.  There is NO COST for us to switch to the new menu. W e want to hear your thoughts. Please let us know if you are in favor of the new menu by Friday, Tuesday February, 3rd.

Public School Safety Committee Meeting

There will be a public School Safety meeting on Monday, February 9th at 8:30am in the cafeteria.
