The Galactic Dance-A-Thon

Inside Broadway is looking for 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders who love to sing, dance, and act! Our returning After School Theatre Program is part of a CASA (Cultural After-School Adventure)

Grant funded by the NYC Council.

Students involved in this workshop will work with Inside Broadway theatre professionals learning the skills that are required to perform in a show. Students need not have any prior experience in theatre arts to participate. We are looking for dedicated participants who are willing to make a commitment to this project.

23 Class “Building a Musical” program requires a FULL commitment.

*If you are currently attending the PTA Afterschool classes on Thursday and Friday and want to submit an application, please indicate that you have a conflict on your submission sheet

(We will consider applications on an individual basis.)

Lower Lab’s Broadway Adventure will meet 2 times a week from

2:35-4:05 PM Thursdays

During the program, children will have the opportunity to write a storyline for their review, play-supporting roles, sing in the chorus, as well as create a backdrop/setting for the musical and act as stage-managers if needed.

We are happy to report that “Mr. B” will return as one of our Inside Broadway Teaching Artists and supervise the classes. He is a highly trained professional who has theatrical background and a teaching degree.
