Screen Shot 2015-12-09 at 4.26.35 PMOn Wednesday, December 16th at 6:30 pm CECD2 will be holding a Special Calendar Meeting at PS 11 at 320 West 21st Street to discuss admissions models for the new District 2 Middle School scheduled to open in fall 2017.

Special Calendar Meeting Agenda

On Monday, January 11 at 6:30 pm the 75 Morton Community Alliance and CECD2 will be holding an Admissions Envisioning meeting (English flyer and Spanish flyer) at the Clinton School for Writers and Artists at 10 East 15th Street. The meeting will include breakout sessions for parents and community members to discuss their ideas about admissions for this school and where possible, reach consensus.


Babysitting and light refreshments will be provided at both meetings.

* Each speaker will be allowed up to two minutes. In the event that there is a lengthy speaker’s list, it is the prerogative of the Community Education Council to limit speaking time to one minute. Persons not recognized in the first Public Session will have an opportunity to be heard at the second Public Session. In addition, members of the public may sign up to speak for or against any resolution, before the vote on the resolution. We welcome your opinions.
