LL Cares is excited to announce our community service project for February.

LL Cares LogoWhen: February 8, 2016 (no school-) Approximately 10am-12pm

Where: UES

What: LL students will partner with PAWS (pawsny.org)
The mission of PAWS NY is to help New York City’s most vulnerable residents remain with their pets by delivering critical programs and services through a community of partners and volunteers. Our programs help keep pets in their homes while protecting and promoting the human-animal bond that is so physically and psychologically valuable to our clients. The motto of PAWS is… helping people by helping pets.

Ten LL students will deliver pet food to NYC residents on the UES who are unable to provide for their pets. Students will be assigned to a group 2-3 person group and make 2-3 deliveries as a group. Each student must be accompanied by an adult. Adults and kids will need to be able to carry a few bags of food and litter
This project is open to 10 students (all grades), although the bags might be a bit heavy for the younger kids.

Please sign up for this project using the following link- please make sure to also include the student name AND the chaperone name. http://www.volunteersignup.org/8ALDF
