During the last month of the school year, the students of grades 1-4 will finish investigations described in the science blog for May 2019.
At this time, all attention is paid to the preparation of the students for the 27th Annual School-wide Science Fair that will take place on Wednesday, June 12th and on Thursday, June 13th during the school day. The letter of invitation to parents went home last week. All the presentations given by the students will take place in their classrooms.
The students of grades 1 and 2 will be sharing their knowledge of concepts introduced to them during the school year. Older students will be sharing their individual science fair projects based on their own interest.
I would like to suggest to the families of students in grade 2 to visit the classrooms where students will be presenting their individual science fair projects so that they will be informed as to what is expected for next year.
After the science fair, the students of grades 3 and 4 will share (in depth) their science fair projects with their classmates in the form of an oral presentation.
- I wish all the Lower Lab Families a wonderful and restful summer. Thank you so much for all your support. Dr. Katarina Klaf
- Photos will be accompanying the blog for June 2019 soon where you can see our budding scientists and engineers at work.
