Meet our new Science Teacher Mr. Nolan Crohn!
Nolan who will be teaching Science and Technology, grew up in Northern Westchester and spent his childhood exploring the woods and wild animals surrounding his home. A lover of all things science since a very young age, Nolan studied Environmental Studies at Skidmore College. He has also completed a Master’s Degree in Childhood Education at Hunter College.
A lifelong learner, Nolan studied Wildlife Ecology and Conservation in Tanzania, East Africa as well as Spanish in Guatemala. He has been teaching science and technology for the past 11 years in New York City, and has experience working with students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Nolan spends his free time with his dog Leo, tending his garden, woodworking, and traveling to his family’s cabin in the Adirondack Mountains. He says that he is thrilled to join the Lower Lab community and to begin getting to know everyone in the fall.
