Note From the Principal

November 27, 2019

Dear Families,

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday.  Why?  Well, everyone celebrates it, my aunt does the cooking (not me!), we go to New Jersey (literally over the river and through the woods), and presents are not part of the celebration (a respite until the gift-giving season coming up soon).  But perhaps the biggest reason I love this holiday is because it gives me a solid opportunity to reflect on that for which I am thankful.

This year, I am thankful for a lot.  I have a great family and I love my work.  Lower Lab is a fantastic place that I consider my home, with all of the community as my extended family.  At Lower Lab, the children are simply the best, families are so supportive and teachers make the magic happen.  Together, we are creating a superb educational experience that makes me very proud, and for this I am especially thankful.

I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving, filled with everything you value and hold dear.

With warm regards,

Sandy Miller
