FLAG Award for Teaching Excellence nominations due January 13th, 2020

There is still time to nominate a teacher from your school for the $100,000 prize!

The FLAG Award for Teaching Excellence recognizes and celebrates extraordinary public school teachers who inspire learning through creativity, passion, and commitment. The winning teacher will receive a $100,000 unrestricted cash prize, and their school will receive a $20,000 grant designated for use in an arts-based initiative designed by the winner.

Who is eligible? Full-time teachers of Manhattan public school students, grades K-12, with at least five years of experience.

Who can nominate? Teachers can be nominated by students, parents, principals, or fellow teachers and colleagues.
