Starting next week, teachers will be using zoom video conferencing to connect with their students online and face to face (through audio and video). Here is the how-to:
- Parents should download and install the most up to date version (5.0) zoom.us package to their child’s technology device, such as a desktop, laptop, macbook, chromebook, ipad or iphone.
- To access NYC DOE Zoom, please follow below:
- Log-in to your Google Classroom, via teachhub
- Teachers will post a zoom link inviting their students to join a meeting. Students click on the link to join the meeting.
Please note: whenever your child is logging in for google classroom, Zoom conferencing, etc., they should only be signed in through THEIR OWN NYC DOE google account on TeachHub.
Congratulations, you can now help your child log-in to their DOE google classroom and zoom account! Going forward, just go to NYC DOE Teach Portal link and click on the google classroom link, where teachers will have schedules, zoom links, and online materials and resources.
