We are so excited to continue Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) with every Lower Lab student this year.

Dear Parents:

Welcome to the 20-2021 school year!  We are so excited to continue Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) with every Lower Lab student this year.  Based on the framework from the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (casel.org), we will be exploring, among other things, five core competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social-awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.

When students in Cohorts A, B and C are in school they will engage in SEL in-person with Josh, Rebecca or another staff member.  Lower grade Cohort D students will work remotely with Josh once a week, while Rebecca will work remotely once a week with the upper grade Cohort D students.  We are here for our students, and for everyone in the Lower Lab community.

It is an honor and a pleasure to support our students and their families.  As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.

All the best,

Josh Goldstein, Guidance Counselor

Rebecca Dransfield, Social Worker
